I love this line of shirts. I am NOT currently in possession of an athletic build (days are long gone), but the slim fit gives me plenty of room without a huge balloon of extra fabric. It is comfortable, looks crisp and helps create a slimmer appearance.

Non-Iron Dress Shirts
The non-iron dress shirt is the best quality of its type that i have worn. You can truly take it out of the dryer, wrinkle free. It not only is wrinkle free but holds it's shape and body well through many washings. No need to take it to the dry cleaners.

Best everyday shirt on the market!
I not going to say that I love paying a lot for clothes but I consider the Brooks Brothers Non-Iron shirts to be the highest value clothing that I buy. They are truly non-iron in you follow the laundry directions. The hold up extremely well and I get years out of each shirt with weekly wear. They are also perfect for travel and dry very quickly when hand washed and hung. Needless to say I am not a dry clean guy with a maid that does my laundry.
On fit, I have tried the quality shirts from other manufacturers but the Slim Fit is the perfect mix of trim without being snug. I just don't think the snug/stretch stuff looks professional.
I am writing this review because so few products have pleased me so well with the service that they deliver.

Not as slim as you think
Nice quality shit with fit problems. I'm a 16.5, with broad shoulders and chest and a narrower midsection (but by no means am I skinny), and the taper of this shirt is only significant in comparison with a normal brooks dress shirt. The extra slim fit is for twigs. There's a subset, to which I apparently belong, who could use an athletic-type fit perhaps. I'll wear this shirt under suits and sweaters, or when I REALLY don't feel like ironing, but it' still too billowy to be worn with slacks and no jacket. As always with Brooks dress shirts, the fanning of material where the cuff meets the sleeve and the lack of a button in the sleeve placket are mystifying.
