Madison Review I have purchased the Madison cut over the years and it appears that the vendor has timmed up the fit. I have always had goodluck with a 45R and now I had to go up to 46R. In doing so, the waist was not a good fit and the tailoring became much more complex than it needed to be and as a result I will not, I regret, purchase the BB label again. April 5, 2011
Great quality and great look First Brooks Brother's suit I have purchased and extremely impressed with the appearance and feel of this suit. Bought a 41R and fits true to size. So impressed, I bought a second Madison suit the following week. Both of these suits are now at the front of my closet and always my first choice when wearing a suit to work or special occasions. The comfort in these suits are remarkable. March 20, 2011
new mens 1818 madison I have an athletic build, so the madison is the only that works for me. Well made suit, much attention to detail. Considerably Less expensive than the custom made suits. If you have a good tailor(the tailor on Newburry St., Boston is very skilled) then its worth it even with alterations. I'd definitely buy another January 27, 2011
Quintessential American styling It is a testament to BB that they can engineer three great cuts in their 1818 line with such consistent quality. I own several Madison suits and like to alternate them with the slimmer fitting Fitzgerald. The fabrics are excellent. The Saxxon wool versions (see elsewhere) are stunning. If you prefer a looser fit, you cannot go wrong with the Madison. December 19, 2010
