Supima® Cotton Non-Iron Extra-Slim Fit Ainsley Collar Dress Shirt 4.5 5 42 49
Very good purchase A gr8 shirt with a very good fit. I now have 4 extra slim fit shirts and this one is gr8. August 10, 2011
Great shirt, minor drawbacks After having searched high and low for an otr slim fit shirt, I finally came across this product. I went to Brooks Brothers to check it out but they had only one style, searsucker, which did not appeal to me. I tried on a tester with a 15.5 inch collar (it is like a short sleeve version) and was impressed with the chest and waist fit. I probably should have had BB take my sleeve measurement right there but I neglected to do so, relying on these reviews and my already known arm measurements (33/34). I ended up ordering a 15.5 34 and 15.5 35. The 34 fits exceptionally (I didn't even both trying on the 35, it is going to be exchanged). There is little extra material on shirt compared to the parachutes I bought elsewhere and had tailored. For anyone similar to my size, I would highly recommend. I am a 38" chest, 15.5" neck, 31.5" waist, 11" unflexed bicep, and about 150 lbs. The two minor drawbacks are lack of a button on underside of the forearm and lack of the option for a stretch button on the neck. More like person preferences but by no means, deal breakers. A very good shirt This is my first Brooks Brothers product and I am very pleased. It is of very high quality and remains remarkably wrinkle free after a long day. When I ordered it, I was concerned that "extra slim fit" would be too small for me. When it arrived, I was astonished at how loose the fit was. I am 6' and average weight (180), yet the shirt was quite generous and will require a tailor to slim it down slightly. If you are on the fence about the size, my experience would be to remember that the shirts seem to be quite generous. I called to verify their return policies should the shirt not fit at all. The person who answered the phone was very kind and helpful. I am pleased with the product and the service and have found a place that provides quality professional clothing with an equally enjoyable experience. July 13, 2011
Great quality at a good price. These are great shirts and I have many in the white non-iron extra slim fit. I do agree that they could be a little slimmer around the waist. I am an athletic build (40 shoulders and a 29 waist) and they are a tad bit loose around the waist. I would (and have several times) recommend these shirts to anyone who asks -- and even to those that don't. July 7, 2011
