Supima® Cotton Non-Iron Extra-Slim Fit Ainsley Collar Dress Shirt 4.5 5 42 49
The Shirt I have Been Waiting For This is the Brooks Brothers shirt that I have been waiting for. I can finally wear a dress shirt that does not look like I am wearing my big brothers shirt. I wear a 42R jacket and 36W pants and this is the best fitting BB shirt I have tried so far. This shirt has a custom tailored look that provides a trim but not tight fit. The sleeves are very trim and may not work for someone with big arms. The cuffs are also tighter than the slim fit shirts. June 16, 2011
Nice Shirt I've been through many Luxury, Luxury Slim and Slim-fit shirts. I've come to the point where I'm only buying the non-iron varieties for wash-at-home convenience. While the luxury shirts are hard to beat for cut, the non-iron slim fits have been very convenient. These extra slim shirts fit me like a tailored shirt I paid too much for in Italy (they actually fit a bit better). They are true to size, and are certainly for the slimmer folks. I am 15 1/2 / 35 with a 42 in chest. If these were any slimmer, they wouldn't fit, but they are spot on. June 8, 2011
Great new colours I purchase a few of the first extra-slim fit non-iron shirts in the original blue and white colours, with the forward point collar. It is nice to see that BB has expanded this line by brining in some additional colours like pink and French blue. I didn't know how I would like the Ainsley collar as opposed to the forward point, but I am pleasantly surprised. While the forward point is a more "business" or "executive" look, the Ainsley gives a slightly more elegant appearance, in my opinion. Also, it allows for some larger knots. For me (177 cm and 73 kg [about 5'10" and 160 lbs, respectively]), the ESF shirts are the most appropriate fit made by Brooks Brothers. They don't pillow nearly as much at the waist as the slim fits, and they are great through the sleeve (whereas the slim fits are quite baggy). The only thing I have noticed is that I need to go up one size in the sleeve. For instance, I wear a 16 33 in other shirts, but a 16 34 in the ESFs. This need is likely related to the higher-set arm holes. June 7, 2011
Great shirt now in more colors These shirts are wonderful. Finally a shirt that really gives me a tailored look. So happy to see that this shirt comes in more colors now (used to be only blue and white). May 27, 2011
