The shoulders are padded, but soft and lightly unlike the built up ones of the 50's or 80's. I call them 'natural' shoulders.

Answer:
Have the salesperson do measurements for you. I have a 44 inch chest and 39 waist, but am 6' 5" and require a 44XL. The jacket is lightly tailored, so how you waist lies will greatly determine what you require.

Answer:
I suggest 44XL or even 46XL. I am 6' 5", 220, 39 waist. In most jackets, I wear 44XL, but my 1818 3-button sack blazer in 46XL was a better fit. Others have made the same notation.

Answer:
Hello,

Based on the limited information, we suggest that you visit a convenient Brooks Brothers location and seek the advice of a sales associate. If that is not a viable option for you, then a 45 Long might be the appropriate Blazer size.

Have a great day

My sizes are height(5.7ft), weight(149lbs), waist(31") and sleeve(32")

I tried 36S in the offline. But it was a bit tight and sleeves were short.

And 38S was a bit loose. Do I go 37S? is it the right size?

Unfortunately, I couldn't try 37S. Because it was sold out in the offline.

It is a narrower fit than a traditional 'sack', even a Madison fit, but I am not a thin person (46XL, 6'5", 220 lbs.) and it fit me quite nicely off the rack.
