Madison Fit Pleat-Front Classic Gabardine Trousers 2.8 5 35 37
Good all-around trousers These trousers seem to run small compared to dress trousers from other stores. (a 36 waist fits me like my other size 35 waist trousers). BB always provides excellent service, so eventually I received trousers that fit really well. Other posters have commented that the rise is short and I would tend to agree, but the fit works with my body type (lean to average). I bought two of these trousers: one in grey and one in navy. The beauty of gabardine is that it stays neat all day, and these trousers are no exception. They work well in the office with a shirt, tie and sport coat, or with a sweater and loafers on the weekend. March 12, 2012
Good quality trousers especially for the price! These trousers are made from a great fabric that is a really nice weight. They are well made as usual for Brooks and are a nice navy. My only concern is that they were a little lower on the wiast than I like but only by like a centimeter so it doesnt matter much excpet to me. March 7, 2012
The rise is terrible They changed the rise, and ever since, I have ripped the inseam on 3 different pairs! The rise is far too short. Needs to be increased back to what it was 2 years ago (2010). And the fabric seems to wear much faster than it used to February 7, 2012
look great... until they fall apart These pants are the classic Brooks Brothers pant. Look sharp and crisp, and complement any shirt. I went with the pleated front, to give more room in the leg and thigh area. glad I did. That said, the cuffs and seams are coming undone. Very annoying. I have had them fixed, and they are now fine. It seems like pants should last longer than 1o wears before they need to be repaired. All in all, great look, but not up to the "brooks standard" I am used to. January 30, 2012
