Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 177 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Better off with the untreated version Brooks Brothers has been my go-to source for most of my clothes for thirty years now, particularly for oxford shirts. The original untreated oxford cloth button down shirts are soft and get softer with age and last forever. Unfortunately that is not as true for the non-iron version. Non-iron shirts are treated with chemicals to resist wrinkling. My experience has been that they do not breathe, they are not as soft, and they wear out around the edges prematurely compared to the untreated shirts. I have untreated oxford cloth button downs from the 1990's that still look great. Yet my non-iron shirts that are three years old are completely worn out at the edges which are now so frayed that they are unusable as work shirts. What you save in cleaning bills does not make up for the loss of longevity. That, and they don't breathe so you sweat more. I recommend untreated version. Yes, you have to iron them, but they feel and wear better. February 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome shirt I love these shirts. They are incredibly comfortable and always look great. We had a guest in our office the other day and they noticed that several of us were wearing the same type of shirt, and that they looked great. He said "do you all get your shirts pressed every day?" We all said together, "Nope, just pull them out of the dryer!" February 10, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by This Isn't Everyone Favorite for No Reason Wow, what a great shirt. You aleays look neat in this. The fabric is terrific. I love the roll of the collar. I am a little of a nontraditionalist in that I like the light blue better than the standard Brooks blue which was a lways a little gray and somber to me. The light blue is a happier bluer color. I also like the pink which is less red than the Oxford. ITs more versatile. My only objection is as an old traditionalist. I always like Brooks dress shirts without the breat pocket. They always had them with the pocket but the ones on the counters were without pockets, The idea was that a Brooks man wore a jacket and did not need a breat pocket. Well times have changed but are you really going to look like a geek and keep your Blqackberry in the breast pocket? But that was many moons ago, I am really dating myself. Just buy the shirt. Rated 5 out of 5 by Best dress shirts ever! These are the best shirts ever. The noniron technology is amazing. They look great, even with out drycleaning. They look drycleaned right out of the dryer! I've received many compliments on this shirt. April 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brooks Bros shirts Best shirts in the world I reckon. Traditional fit non-iron with button down collar look good from dawn til dusk. I can get off the plane from Australia to France looking like I am wearing a fresh shirt. outstanding! March 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best Shirts - Period I started purchasing Brooks Bothers shirts a couple of years ago. I was a little apprehensive at first because of the price, but they really are worth the money. I now own about a dozen Brooks Brothers shirts and ties. I'm looking for quality, and that's exactly what I get at Brooks Brothers. What more can I say. Great products. July 18, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by BDC Perhaps the only type of shirts I wear. I have quite a few of these shirts and strictly for the quality. I turned my buddy Trevor on to the BB shirts. He's on his own kick now to have his shirts made by BB. There is nothing in the world like being measured for YOUR own suits and shirts. October 4, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by disappearting pocket I have been purchasing non-iron dress shirts for quite a long time. My most recent purchase has no breast pocket on the shirts. I really like a pocket in my dress shirts. Why did they suddenly leave? November 10, 2010

Answer:
I personally would not advise so... I put mine in dryer right after being laundered, using low heat, as soon as the cycle is done, I hang it while the shirt is still worm, and it works perfectly for me. The key is not to let it sit in either the washer or dryer, it does require your attention, so I make sure I have stocks of these shirts so I don't need to launder them more than once every 2-3 weeks...

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. We advise against sending your Non-Iron Dress Shirts to the cleaners along with your regular finish shirts. The dry cleaning process is quite harsh to natural fibers, such as cotton, and may increase the likelihood that the garment may break down over time. We do suggest laundering the Non-Iron Dress Shirts in your washing machine and quickly transferring them to the dryer. Promptly remove the shirts when they are dried and hang them on a hanger. This should maintain the smooth finish for which our shirts are known.

We do hope this information is helpful.
Kind regards,
Brooks Brothers

Answer:
I have experienced no shrinkage w/ my BB dress shirts. I am a big guy 19-36 and hate it when they shrink down. After the wash I run them in the dryer for about 10 minutes on low heat and then hang dry for a perfectly smooth finish with no shrinkage.

Answer:
I'm a 17.5 neck and have never had neck 'skrinkage' problems unless I'm piling on the Kgs.

Never had shrinkage as a problem.

NB: Never dry your shirts in a dryer. This will guarantee 'shrinkage" in any shirt.

Hang on a coat hanger and use God's big dryer in the sky.....

Answer:
Hello,

We advocate that you purchase an appropriate fitting shirt, without any reservations.
There is not an inherit issue with shrinkage with non-iron shirts. We run extensive tests on this product. According to our Production Department, testing is performed on the shirts at an optimal level of 40 to 50 washes.

Thank you for contacting us.

Have a great day!

Answer:
It's not advisable to try to measure you own sleeve length. Your arms should be naturally at your sides, measuring from the middle of the upper back to where the stitching located at the shoulder of the shirt would be. Add this number to the length from the top stitching on the shoulder to the bottom of the wrist where the cuffs are expected to end. Add this number to the previous to get your sleeve length.

Answer:
I am a customer but not a tailor or clothing professional. I believe sleeve lengths are measured (by a second person) from the center of the back of your neck, down over the outside of the elbow and down to the cuff.
