great shoes, but ...
Theses loafers are totally stunning and will be great for anyone as long as they have high arches
If like me you are stuck with totally flat feet (!) they will not work that well - my wide arches collapse into the long inside of the shoes and look and feel terrible!

Great shoes for both business and casual settings
As with most (quality) shell cordovan shoes, they don’t require a break-in period. The comfort alone could justify purchase, but the appearance is equally impressive. This is the second pair of cordovan shoes (third overall) purchased from BB. So far, we’re batting a 1000!

Just Right
I have been wearing these shoes since the mid 1980's, when I got my first real job. Shell cordovan leather is addictive. I think these are dressier than the penny loafers. One nice aspect of these is that you can send them back to Alden, the manufacturer, to have them restored to as good as new. So you can use them freely, knowing that they will be put right and not butchered by a local cobbler.
