I just got a pair and they are pretty loose around the ankle. I imagine that this would be the case as the opening is pretty large. But wanted to canvas the community out there.

Pebble Grain Chukka Boots can be worn in the winter. However, we do not recommend wearing these boots in heavy inclement weather.
