Lovely Book packaged beautifully Great gift for a high-school or college girl. Tips on many areas in life from dinner parties, job interviews, etc. In the age of high-tech contact, this book reminds us of proper etiquette. December 1, 2010
Good advice for modernity Well worth the read - provides reminders of what it means to be a lady at a time when good manners seem to be a rarity. I'm looking forward to reading How to Raise a Gentleman! May 26, 2010
All You Need to Know About "Lady-hood" No-- I did not say, "Hood-ladies" but rather, Lady-hood. There remains a special elegance, sophistication power and wisdom that defines "lady-hood"-- this book captures the essence of such and conveys the message in an easy-to-understand manner. I am purchasing several more copies to give to the Young Ladies forum as an empowerment tool. Each participant in this group of inner city young ladies has decided to become an integral part of "lady-hood" and we volunteer to help shape them according to their persuit. This book, along with 12 weeks of sessions, will help young females to get a better understanding of the POWER of "lady-hood" I challenge each reader to identify 10 - 12 young ladies who you think have Lady-Leadership potential and began to impart the wisdom and power of this book into their developing lives to empower them for Lady-hood. To be a Lady I have not finished the book. But I have thouroughly enjoyed it. I am working on making improvements as I learn more. I never learned much about proper ettiquette or being lady like. I want to be and of course this is why I bought the book. I am much more aware of my actions and the way I think of situations and others having read the book. February 17, 2010
