My New Alpha Suit This is the suit I wear on days when I want to look good. I was happy to find a three-button option for the Madison because I prefer the longer, slimmer optic of the jacket. The pants are a slightly slimmer cut than on the 2-button and the pleats lay beautifully. Also a slightly lighter wool than the 2-button version I have, so more comfortable on steamy summer days. Would love to see some lighter-colored options as well. August 14, 2012
Best Suit -- Ever I can hardly wait for my other suits to "retire" -- so I. can purchase more (in other colors). This is simply the best suit I have ever owned -- and I've owned many over the years. I do recommend to BB to make a blazer in the same material and similar cut (I now prefer the 3-button). January 29, 2012
beautiful suit (but maybe a little too dark) The fabric and fit are great. I own the same suit in black and in gray and was looking forward to adding navy. But the color is close enough to black that it might not make sense owning both. July 7, 2011

Is there any way to order this suit online with suspender buttons? Everytime I order by telephone, the data entry person always gets something wrong. Online is great, because I can review the order and see that everything is 100% correct. But, the only alterations I see are inseam, cuffs, and waist. WIll there be a field on the check-out page to add suspender buttons?

You can wear a black suit, but it is truly appropriate for a formal affair. We suggest wearing either a navy or grey suit. Cordovan shoes and belt will go with a black, grey, or navy suit.
