Supima® Cotton Non-Iron Extra-Slim Fit Forward Point Collar Dress Shirt 4.5 5 12 13
Best fit ever I Thoroughly love these shirts. They fit perfectly. I only wish the stores would carry more extra slim fit. November 24, 2011
Why not in lavender? My only complain in this shirt is why they don't have this style in a lavender color. I love the fit and the heavy material, particularly during this fall season. I have far too many blue shirts, but not a lavender color. And I don't want one that has too much red nor too blue. There is one color in the store but it didn't come in an extra-slim fit. Excellent Shirt I have a size 16 neck, 32-33 sleeve, and 30 waist, so it's difficult for me to find a shirt that fits properly. Regular size shirts are always huge on me around the waist. This shirt fits great. I think it could still be a little trimmer around the waist, but it's still great. I ordered a 16-34 because I heard the sleeves run short on the extra slims, however I think a 33 would have been fine. The cuff diameter is small enough that the sleeve won't slip past your wrist easily, so it's not a big deal if the sleeve is slightly too long. I will definitely order again but will probably try a 16-33 next time. As far as quality, it's excellent. I hate ironing so I love the fact that it's non-iron... it comes out of the dryer looking perfect. I don't know why anyone would buy a shirt that needs to be ironed. August 31, 2011
The Dress Shirt I Have Been Waiting For! This is the Brooks Brothers shirt that I have been waiting for. I can finally wear a dress shirt that does not look like I am wearing my big brothers shirt. I wear a 42R jacket and 36W pants and this is the best fitting BB shirt I have tried so far. This shirt has a custom tailored look that provides a trim but not tight fit. The sleeves are very trim and may not work for someone with big arms. The cuffs are also tighter than the slim fit shirts. July 7, 2011

Answer:
There is a back pleat on these extra-slim fit dress shirts, but as others have said, it doesn't add much fabric. In fact, it adds a nice dab of style to the back of the shirt, and looks quite elegant when lightly pressed.

Answer:
yes, but it does not really add 'extra' to the overall appearence. I bought it for my husband and did not want the pleat either, but the shirt really looks great and slim

Answer:
I'm the same size chest and waist. The 16 x 33 fits me perfectly. With the higher arm holes on the extra slim fit, watch the sleeve length. They can get too short.

Answer:
Your chest and waist measurements are equivalent to a slim fit medium size shirt. However, without having your neck and arm length measurements, we are unable to suggest this size shirt for you.

We have attached a fit guide for your review and reference.
Fit Guide for Men Shirts

How to measure your neck:
1. Secure measuring tape.
2. Place the edge of tape on your Adam’s apple, and while holding it in place with index finger, wrap entire tape around neck overlapping edge of tape where the Adam’s apple sits. (This is the basic skin measurement; however, your neck measurement for a collared shirt is not over yet.)
3. Holding the tape in place still. Gently, place your index and middle fingers between the measuring tape and Adam’s apple. Placement of fingers gives you allowance and ease when the shirt collar is buttoned up. This will give you slack around the neck, at least a half of an inch.
4. After completing steps 2 and 3 the process is over, and you can comfortably jot down your neck measurements with confidence.

How to measure sleeve length:
1. Secure measuring tape and a willing assistant for this task.
2. Stand naturally, avoid slouching.
3. The starting point, measuring tape should be placed on the middle base of neck running along your outside shoulder stopping at the break point of wrist.
4. The first measurement is from your middle base of neck to edge of shoulder.
5. Continue measuring from shoulder to break point of wrist.
6. Add the two measurements and round up sleeve length. (rounding up ensures sleeves are not too short)

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Our Supima Cotton Non-Iron Dress Shirts are not as heavy as an oxford but are indeed a bit heavier than our Regular Finish Dress Shirts. They are fairly lightweight and have a smooth texture that does not pucker at the seams.

We do hope this information is helpful.
Kind regards,
