Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Quality Suede These shoes are incredible! Great looking and extremely comfortable. The suede is top notch. No less than one week after purchasing my pair in sand color, I spilled a large bottle of clear liquid (not water) on one of them. I immediately submerged the entire shoe in water, inserted a shoe tree and let it dry out for 48 hours. After drying and a quick hit with a suede brush, the shoe looked as good as the one that did not get wet. I was afraid my pair would be ruined but there was absolutely no stain! April 7, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by I've owned a pair for a year now, and they still feel as comfortable, and have shown very little signs of wear. On a few occasions I braved the rain, and the tight sueded didn't absorb the water as most suedes would. Compared to a pair of Madden chukka boots I own, which were stained by the rain after one outing, these are significantly better in quality and value. December 14, 2011

Not really, the sole slides on snow. These used to be called Desert Boots, better on dry land obviously.

Suede can get ruined in the snow. If you spray them with a water-resistant/repellent spray, they will be fine in the snow.
