Classic All Cotton Traditional Fit Original Polo
This is the Classic All Cotton Traditional Fit Original Polo / Button Down dress shirt made in Malaysia. Do not confuse this with the Oxford Button Down. This shirt is made from thinner material than the Oxford Button Down and it appears smoother or dressier so it looks better with a suit or sport coat. The style is classic and the tailoring is good. The shirt seems to run a little big (bigger than the same size in the Oxford) so the collar rolls over a little without a tie. I find the colors run true (ie., pink, blue & yellow) more so than the Oxford Button Down colors which are a little off traditional colors. This shirt launders well and looks great starched up. It can be worn with jacket or jeans. i would recommend this shirt to anyone expecially big & tall guy's as this shirt is very roomy..

Be Aware
I can no longer recommend the pinpoint oxford shirts. The collar does not roll properly as in previous years. I had all colors and returned them to the store.

Slightly lighter weight than the Original Oxford
I read the review that said these were made overseas and were a bit lighter weight than the Original Oxford Button Down. I agree. These are a little lighter in weight but retain all the qualities of the Original Oxford. Great fit and expert tailoring. Same superb collar roll. I like these a little better on the hottest days. I especially like the traditional fit because it gives me room to move and it looks better than the slimmer styles.

PINPOINT
Nice shirt....BUT WARNING...be sure which of the two Traditional Oxford Cloth, etc shirts you are ordering..I thought I was buying an American made shirt. One is Supima and the other Pinpoint...pay attention, I didn't!

I'll have to admit some sartorial ignorance here, but darn it I just don't know the difference between the two classic polo shirts. One is made of pinpoint cotton, and the other is made of Supima cottron Oxford cloth. I'm assuming that the pinpoint cotton is a lighter, finer material, but I could be completely wrong.

Made in Malaysia.Supima oxford is beefier with a noticeable hand/weave. Colors and patterns are less saturated and intense due to coarser threads and bulkier weave. More casual shirt. Made in the USA. Shirt for purist and traditionalist. Better overall quality in my opinion.
