Not as They Were........
This was my fifth BB Robe. The first one, purchased about twelve years ago, was made in Canada from Italian fabric. The last three, purchased about two to three years ago, were made in England. The current model is made in China. That being said, the current model has one advantage and that is that it is fully lined from collar to hem and through the sleeves. My oldest model was only lined in the back. The three English models were lined in the upper back and sleeves. Only this model id fully lined.
On the negative side: this robe is not cut as fully as previous models. The bottom hem measures twelve inches shorter in width than my other models. I believe this carries through the circumference of the garment as the waist feels narrower too (i.e. there is less fabric overlapping about the waist an chest). The more recent model also seems to have braiding of a lesser quality. All things being equal, I’d prefer the English make; given that this model costs the same as the robes three years ago, I think BB cut corners on fit and detail, being fully lined notwithstanding.

Outstanding robe
This robe is simply outstanding. I used to wear my BB factory robe every day, but after receiving this this week for a Christmas present, this is the new go to. Wonderfully comfortable, a great fit, and an overall extremely high quality robe!

supreme elegance
I am so impressed with the quality, appearance and fit of this dressing gown I have recommend it to my brother. The nice thing is, as Henry Ford said " You can have it in any colour as long as its..." I like the lack of choice...the works done for you. Only surprise was that the lining is very elegant but can be a chilly surprise if you don't wear pyjamas.

My boyfriend is 5.6 tall, has waist 33", with shirts he use to wear 41-16 (but sometime 38-15), any clothes he usually buy M size (and L size for tick knitted jackets or wool).
1) I see in description that this robe very roomy, so what size I should order.
2) If robe will not fit properly, is there any problem to return or exchange monogrammed item?
