The fabric not same with what I think.Poor quality and fluff. I feel the sport shirt cotton better than dress shirt.
Feel very thin and easily wrinkle. I hope to exchange Just I am from Malaysia and I have no time to shipping back to US.

This Photographs Well
I purchased this shirt for my little brother, an aerospace engineering major, who is 6'3 and long-armed. You know, the brilliant kind who could use a little help in the closet department. He was going to need a custom-tailored shirt, but when I read reviews online I decided to give this a try instead. It was perfect! Favorite sister status acquired. I am buying at least one of these for my fiance now, after going to department stores thinking we would be able to just pick up a shirt for him to wear for our Vegas desert wedding, and WHOA! THIS SHIRT SPOILED ME! I didn't realize how difficult it is to find shirts like this! I mean, everything else fits like a garbage bag! Besides the X-fit shirts, this is the best fitting shirt for young guys that I've seen, especially for guys that aren't standing parallel with me (at 5'8). Still, if you aren't going to a nightclub, this shirt is the classiest of the fitted shirts that I have found. As far as whether it is too thin, I wouldn't change anything about it. It wears beautifully, chicks dig french cuffs!!! I never write reviews, but I've never been loyal to a staple men's apparel item either, until now. The absence of a pocket is also great! More "GQ" than "Old Wall Street", and that is a very good thing.

Disappointing
I bought several of these shirts in-store, and have subsequently returned them. The fabric is noticeably thinner and more see-through than that found in other Brooks non-iron shirts; this reeks of cost-cutting and does little to uphold the Brooks Brothers reputation for quality.

Just OK
I thought the pink shirt was very thin and a little too see-through for my taste. I really like the idea of using Pima cotton because it is an American-grown fabric despite the fact that the shirt is made in Malaysia. I also like that these shirts do not have pockets. Formal shirts with french cuffs customarily do not possess pockets, but for my taste I appreciate the clean look of shirt lacking a pocket that I will never use. Please offer more "made in USA" or USA grown/spun/woven fabrics and I will buy them.

Are the "All-Cotton Non-Iron Extra-Slim Fit Ainsley French Cuff Dress Shirt" designed with a center back pleat? I purchased two of these only a couple of months ago and they didn't seem to have a center back pleat. I prefer not to have a center back pleat on a shirt, but I'm confused as to whether to expect the shirts to come with center back pleats from now on. Is this something new?

Answer:
I recently bought a extra slim fit online that said it had a center back pleat, but when it arrived it did not. Like you I prefer not to have the pleat. I hope a brooks brothers rep answers this question soon, but for the time being I will continue to purchase on the assumption that Extra Slim Fit shirts do not have any back pleats.1 year, 3 months ago
