Versatile and Brilliant I have worn mine in Mongolia, Myanmar, Australia, Kazakhstan... everywhere. Tough enough to handle the bush, water, horse poo, you name it. Actually they look a bit better when beaten up a bit. Then, when back to New York, polish up and ready to go with a suit! They are the best work travel shoes I have ever had because they are good for everything. Even convenient slip-on and off for the multitudes of security screenings. Going to order brown this year to round out my fleet. November 6, 2012

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, our Leather Ankle Boots are only available for men at this time. Typically, women should select two sizes below their own to fit into a men's shoe. However, our men's footwear is not available in sizes smaller than a 7-7.5, which would simply be too big.

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. For our Leather Ankle Boots, we recommend purchasing our Shoe Cream, item 036H. You will find that it will properly polish your shoes and keep them supple. If you are lucky to live near a professional shoe shine, we also recommend treating yourself (and the boots) to a full-service buff and shine, as these gentlemen often restore shoes to a like-new appearance.
