Hello sir, thank you for your inquiry into our Suede Bucks. Item MH00338 is indeed an update of our shoes from last year, MH00145. The newer iteration simply includes a larger variety of colors but are similar in every other way. Additionally, the nubuck suede used to craft these shoes is quite soft, owing to the fact that it has been shaved down.
