One size up from your waist size, two sizes up if your pants fit tightly. For example, if you wear pants 32 30, the waist size is 32 and, therefore, your belt should be size 34 (or 36).

Hello DG Duncan,

We suggest purchasing a belt at least two sizes up from your actual waist measurement.
For example; if your waist measures 34 inches, then a 36 inch would be appropriate.
