Rated 5 out of 5 by Great but sizing After reading a few comments I decided to get the smaller size. Got the smaller size and not I am wondering if I should have gotten even another size smaller. If this is your first BB shirt, sizing might be an issue. If you are in between a size, get the smaller size (in my opinion). They don't shrink. August 17, 2011

I can report, after visiting a store, that they do. I personally didn't care for them, but yes they exist. Albeit in rare quantities, from what I saw there.

Yeah, the performance polo used to come in solids like that but not this year. I like the contrast logos, they give them a little flavor. A blue polo is a just a blue polo, but when it's got a pink logo... ridiculous.

I believe that there are some garment-dyed sport shirts on which the logo matches the colour of the shirt. However, I don't think BB currently offers polos in this same vein.

The Golden Fleece novelty performance polos are pique. They are essentially the same as the standard GF polos, but are available in seasonal colours, and many have duo-toned emblems.

Good question. Maybe Customer Service can tell you. Whenever I've had to call about a product, they've always been very helpful. I can tell you that my husband is a 16 collar in a dress shirt, and the Small polo fits perfectly around the neck--not snug, not too loose.

I wear a 16 1/2 inch neck in normal shirts and a large in Golden Fleece Polos. There is A LOT of room remaining with the collar button open.

Size L in polo equates to neck size 15-15 1/2 in dress shirt sizing and size XL in polo equates to 16 - 16 1/2 in dress shirt sizing.

I find the size of the collar of the polo shirts to be fairly large compared to other polo shirts. Is the collar size the same for the novelty polos as the basic color polos?

Based on 20 years of Brooks Brothers polos, I find the collar size is the same for both the Golden Fleece Novelty and Performance polos. My husband confirms that, for him (size small), the collars on these polos are not too big, but just right.

Yes, the collar size is the same on any of the traditional fit Golden Fleece polos (whether novelty or basic colours).

Depends on your fit preferences. The three-button polos have a bit of give. May want to go with Slim Fit small, unless you don't mind a big of bagginess around the waist.
