Not Slim Fit If you are tall and thin, these are not the slim fit shirts for you. I'm 6'1'' 150lbs, and this shirt is way too baggy. Tried this shirt in a medium. The length is too short for me, granted it's a medium, but I was expecting the width to be much more fitted. If looking for a true slim fit, try other options. Fabric has a nice feel, and the quality is there, just not the fit. November 27, 2012
Nice shirt, collar and placket could be better I have 8 of these shirts - 6 solid colors and 2 striped. Be sure to get a size bigger than you would in the non-slim fit as these are running small this year. Also, they are not shrink-proof despite the special performance treatment boasted on the tag. Even on medium drier heat they shrink a little. I find that the plackets on the plain colored shirts are rather floppy which causes an unappealing pucker when the top button is left open. The striped shirts seem to be better quality; one of them has a noticeably reinforced collar. I also wish that BB would ditch the distracting logo and find another way to distinguish their shirts. For example, their dress shirts have the signature shirring on the cuffs which nobody else has. This would keep the polos classier than RL and others. May 23, 2012

Slim Fit Novelty Polo I have one medium slim fit and one medium regular fit polo from about 3 years ago. The regular medium is a little wide for me. The medium slim fit was great for me. I went to a couple physical stores to try to buy more slim fit novelty polos, but all they had were the regular fit shirts. I ended up ordering online, and the fit of the three medium slim fits I ordered is not the same as the medium slim fit I bought 3 years ago. The sleeves were shorter and tighter. There was less room in the chest also. I tried on the regular medium fit at a store, and I would need to gain 50lbs for it to fit. So the regular medium I tried on in a store recently is bigger than the regular medium I have from 3 years ago. So I went for the medium slim fit, but they are too small. I guess I would need a large slim fit, but I'm not willing to take the risk of ordering that size just to find out. The consistency of the sizing is off. There needs to be a middle ground between the regular medium and medium slim fit. Many other brands offer only one fit in each size, and the fit is a good compromise that fits me fine. Probably a small. I am 5'9" 185 and muscular athletic build, and a medium slim fit fits me perfectly.

I am the same size and weight. I used to wear medium shirts but now I wear small trim/slim fit. most of the better retailers are carrying slim or trim fit shirts and pants. It took a while to get use to feeling the clothes so close to my body. but if the material is good and you have been fitted correctly walk outside and check the reaction to a "sharp dressed man."

In my opinion, a medium. If you wanted to buy both to make sure, you could, and then simply return the one that did not fit back.

I'm 6', 165 lbs with an athletic build and the medium fits perfectly. I think the large slim fit would fit you properly given your height and weight. Hope this helps

In general, slim fit will be cut shorter and closer to the body. Its meant to be a more trim and tailored look for those of you who may have a thinner frame. Original fit will certainly be more boxy on someone who should be meant for the slim fit.

Slim fits are thinner at the waist. I find regulars tend to be cut for roundish people, slim fits for 'average' people, and extra slims for thin people

Slim-fit polos are more trim in the midsection and sleeves; more European in sizing. Traditional fit polos are more generous in the midsection and may be more suitable for people with a few extra layers in that area.

I am 6 ft and 180 lbs. I wear 17/34 extra slim fit BB dress shirts and they are a perfect fit. BB L regular fit polos are too big on me, BB XL slim fit polo is just right. BB L polo is too short after washing / drying.

My BB store doesn't have slim fit for me to try on so I'll have to order. I wear a small slim fit Ralph Lauren polo that fits perfectly if that helps. Thanks!

Probably the large slim fit. Regular fits are made for more 'round' guys, even average guys would wear a slim fit version in BB.

Not sure I can answer your question, but I will offer my experience for some perspective. I am 6' 2.5" and 165 lbs, wide shoulders. I purchased the Slim Fit Polos in a size Large and found that they were not long enough to tuck in. I exchanged for XL and they fit great. They still feel a bit roomy (which I prefer), ie they do not hug my chest or mid-section.

you don't want to burst out of the shirt try the large or xl slim fit or or large regular seems to me to be logical choices. I use to be in retail many years ago and prided myself in being able to fit customers, but sometimes i would run across the type of person who had their own ideas about how the should look, so I would let them go with their own intuition.

Medium slim definitely (extra slim probably even better), maybe even a small slim. I'm 5'9" 185 muscular athletic, and medium slim fit fits perfect.

I am 6'0" tall, ~175 lbs, relatively athletic build. It's a tough call between medium and large, I owe a couple of each. Medium is a bit tight, good for weekend and okay for work. Depending on how formal your work is, large may be the more conservative/appropriate size for professional work environment.
Note they tend to shrink slightly when washed. The medium fit me perfectly the first time I wore it, but slightly tight after a couple of washes.
