Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous sweater; superb quality. This sweater, in black, was received as a gift this Christmas. Impeccably tailored and of superb quality. All the little extras are much appreciated: leather buttons, secured from behind with grosgrain ribbon for added strength and extra attention given to seams that often pull apart. This is a lightweight sweater and even for cashmere is unbelievably soft. Well worth the price when compared to those offered by other high-end retailers. A real keeper! I went online to buy another (I like to have duplicates of things I really love), but they were all sold out. Too bad. Will have to wait for next year; hopefully the quality and styling will be maintained. December 28, 2012

In point of fact, the label says "3-ply cashmere" and "made in Scotland."
