| Take opposite corners and alternate folding inward toward the center in thirds until a 2-inch wide band is formed. (This is called folding "along the bias.") |

| Drape behind around neck so that one end hangs lower than the other. Cross long end over the short end and wrap around behind. |

| Bring long end across the front of the short end again. |

| Pull the long end up and through the back of the loop created near your neck. |

| Hold the front of the knot loose with your finger and slip the long end through the opening. Pull downward and center knot. |

| Adjust to make more taut or loose according to your preference. |
