Madison Classic-Fit Dress Shirt, Non-Iron Button-Down Collar is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 167.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Brooker is still the best shirt made I haven't had any Brooks Brothers classic pin point cotton shirts in many year. However, in my late teens and early twenties, back in the 1960s they were all that I owned and wore. Recently I needed to replace the shirts I wore with my classic tweed jackets and decided to go for a Brooks Brothers shirt. They looked wonderful, so I bought 3 in different colors. I waited anxiously for them to arrive. When they did, I tried them on, and found the fit absolutely perfect, the feel just what I remembered. So many things change over the years, but Brooks Brothers quality remains what it always was. My old Brookers lasted for many years and many, many washings. I expect these shirts will as well. It feels like coming home.

Can you please let me know how opaque the material used for the white shirts.

Asked by: Brendan51
This particular dress shirt is our pinpoint cotton, which is our mid level weight/opaqueness. Our broadcloth cotton is the lightest/sheerest and our oxford is the least sheer and most opaque/heaviest. This particular shirt in white would be fairly opaque. If you could visit one of our Brooks Brothers Retail stores a sales associate would be happy to explain the differences so you could choose which would be appropriate for you.

What is the difference between the BrooksCool® Dress Shirt (E550) and the Button-Down Dress Shirt (E490)?

Trying to compare the Supima® Cotton Non-Iron Regular Fit BrooksCool® Dress Shirt and the Supima® Cotton Non-Iron Regular Fit Button-Down Dress Shirt and I can't tell the difference. There must be one, or you would not have two different item numbers.
Asked by: Steven789
Thank you for the inquiry, Sir. E550 is Oxford cotton and E490 is Pinpoint Cotton. Oxford is our heaviest cloth & Pinpoint is our mid weight cloth.

what is size 16-4/5 (346) mean in original polo shirt, regular fit non iron all cotton made in malaysia

Asked by: sajid
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. A 16 4/5 would refer to a 16" neck with a sleeve length that is between 34" and 35". It is comfort sizing and provides flexibility. We do not offer 346 offerings through this site however. They may only be purchased at a Brooks Brothers Factory store. Kind regards, Brooks Brothers
