Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Trousers I recently bought two of these pants and both are great, well sized, and well built. I appreciate the covered seams and great workmanship.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Long and tight Sizing was vastly different from my typical sizing. Much longer leg with very short rise. Need to return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from classic as usual Troughout the years the same quality,I will use it fo coming years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong Size Label Ordered 2 pair. One fit great but length was 4" longer than the label. The other's length was per label but the waist was at least 2" too small. Not sure who is supplying these pants to Brooks, but they are damaging the brand! This is the second time this has happened in the last 6 months. Frustrating, but when the pants are actually the size indicated on the label, they are great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Men's Salcks Ever I have purchased these Brooks Brothers Classic Gabardine Trousers many times over the years and continue to get good wear out of them. These slacks are the most comfortable slacks I have worn and I am delighted that Brooks Brothers continues to carry these for their outstanding quality and value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Fitting Dress Pants Previous to this purchase, I had been buying Regent-fit Brooks Brothers dress pants. While the fabrics and styling were always elegant, the pants tended to fit my 175-pound, 5'10 1/2"-inch frame a bit too snugly. In one or two instances, I had to return pants or have my wife let them out a bit in the waist and seat. Then, as an experiment, I ordered a pair of these Madison-fit Flat-Front Gabardine trousers in light tan. Wow! The fabric and styling was equally elegant, but the fit was perfect--as if they were custom-tailored for me. I was so impressed I ordered two more trousers in different colors--light gray and British tan. If I could, I'd give these trousers six stars!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The cut of the pant has changed I have worn this Madison pant for 5 years and now the cut of the pant has changed. Too tight in the thigh and the rise seems shorter. I would not order another pair until they find the previous pattern and return to the tried and true Madison.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sizing wasn't true. I even ordered up a size and they were still too small. No wonder they were on sale. Quality was good, just the sizing was off.

Any changes to the 2012 pant? Hoping a return to the pant of a few years ago... color matched pockets?

Asked by: WillC
Unfortunately, no! The new low rise, tight thigh, skinny jean Madison fit is what you will find.

Where exactly are the Madison trousers made? Thank you.

Asked by: DukeofBourgogne
They are now made in Thailand. Until a few years ago, they were higher quality and were made in Canada. Quality of materials is significantly worse and material wrinkles very easily.

Madison fit versus other fits

How does the Madison fit compare with the standard Brooks Brothers pants that were available in the past? Is the Madison fit a standard fit or is it more loose? I'm 59 years old and thin, so don't want pants that are too baggy. Thank you.
Asked by: Tubbie
Madison are the fullest-cut non-pleated pants. (Think "traditional fit" shirts and you'll get an idea.) Since you describe yourself as 'thin', you might want to try a Clark or Regent fit.
