Disappointing
The faded ink used for the personalization looks, in my opinion, as if a cheap rubber stamp was used to make it. I gather this is supposed to give the stationery a "vintage" appearance. While some "vintage" items are attractive, stationery that looks old just looks -- old.

Excellent stationary for a gentleman
This is a beautiful set of stationary. Don't take me wrong, I am not a old, pipe smoking stoggy sipping brandy by a fireplace laying out quotes of walt whitman as I write dandy letter to acquaintances. But this is a great set of stationary for the lost courtesy of letter writing. Any would be gentleman or business person would be well served by this product.

Both His and Hers
My spouse was envious when he saw the stationery I had ordered for myself in an earlier online purchase. So I ordered the very same style for him. We are both pleased. This product, with the BB watermark, is a good idea for the company and for lovers of branded upscale merchandise. We are too old to care much about that, but it is a surprising conversation piece. :) Nice paper stock that is weighty enough; attractive, subtle personalization printing. It will last a long time. We do, however, need second sheets, which are not included in the item. That is the only downside issue.

Brooks Bros. Stationary and Note Cards
Both my husband and I use Brooks Bros. Stationary and Notecards. They have a very classic design. Paper stock is great and you have a very professional looking product. This is our favorite. We use both the stationary and note cards weekly.
