A very interesting read-- good to know exactly who benefits from the billions of dollars purchasers spend with BB over the years. Although I actually enjoy American History, it was fascinating to read how history has shaped so much of the rich tradition that established BB. For example, a clerk during the twenties explained the look of new hats in terms of the prohibition era.
Most interestingly, was the section that described how women loved the BB look so much that they "conducted an under the counter business" for many years until the first BB Women's Department in 1975.
To this day, I find myself exploring the uselfulness of some of the men's and boy's items as suitable to accessorize my BB suits and dresses.
I find myself still re-reading some of this rich history during periods of relazation-- even in the jacuzzi !!

When I received my copy of "Generations of Style Book" I found it difficult to put it down! It is so wonderful to read the history of the company - a true icon not only for the USA but around the world.
It is hard to imagine that this great company has been serving customers since 1818. I highly recommend you purchase a copy and learn more about Brooks Brothers and the USA.
