Founded upon common ideals, both companies have long maintained that our customers deserve nothing less than an absolute commitment to quality and value. We understand that only the finest materials will do, and that functionality is essential.

Brooks Brothers and Hartmann have created a collection to meet the practical demands of today's business traveler. The collection is timeless and state-of-the-art; every piece pays homage to our shared heritage of American craftsmanship.

When Charles Lindbergh landed the Spirit of '76, he reached for a Brooks Brothers suit. Admiral Byrd brought a Brooks Brothers suit on his Antarctic expedition.
First Lady Cleveland's Hartmann trunk was indispensable on her 1886 Grand Tour, and James Bond reached
for his Hartmann Skymate throughout the pages of Live and Let Die.

For generations, Brooks Brothers and Hartmann have been the choice of the ladies and gentlemen who
have made the world go round.

What is Belting Leather?
CONTINUING A TRADITION
In 1939, Hartmann was looking for a new superstrong leather with
maximum durability and individuality. The president of Hartmann
sent a belt from a flywheel to a Canadian tannery and six months
later, Belting Leather found its way onto Hartmann's business
cases, luggage and leathergoods. Every bag features Aged Belting
Leather trim, handles, and shoulder straps made from North
American native steer hide. This special leather yields superior
abrasion resistance and a consistently beautiful color and patina.
